CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Roberts Wesleyan forward Dan Lobene is the American Mideast Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Raiders to two victories and the outright regular season AMC title.
Lobene, a 5-foot-8 senior from Gates, N.Y., scored all three goals for Roberts Wesleyan.
Lobene found the net twice in a 2-1 upset win at NAIA #8 and defending AMC champion Notre Dame. He came back with the lone goal in a 1-0 decision over rival Houghton, who was receiving votes in the poll.
Roberts Wesleyan completed the regular season 8-7-1 overall and 7-2 AMC. The Raiders will host the AMC Final Four on Nov. 13-14.
