Malone unanimous #1 in NAIA

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Malone University stayed No. 1 in the NAIA men’s cross country coaches’ Top 25 poll for the fifth straight week. The Pioneers received all 21 first place votes and 591 total points.
Cedarville continued its climb up the rankings to No. 10 while Shawnee State got back into the Top 25 at No. 24. Houghton also received votes.
The next six spots after Malone also remained the same from last week. No. 2 Embry-Riddle (Fla.), 564 points; No. 3 Azusa Pacific (Calif.), 551; No. 4 Aquinas (Mich.), 539 points; No. 5 California State-San Marcos, 515 points; No. 6 Concordia (Neb.), 482 points; and No. 7 Indiana Tech, 469.
Southern Oregon moved up three spots into the Top 10 at No. 8 with 455 points while Huntington (Ind.) dropped to No. 9 with 410 points.
