PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Members of the Point Park men's and women's cross country teams volunteered Saturday with KaBOOM's Playground Build Day in Clairton, Pa.
The Pioneers did not compete Saturday, but used their day off to help construct the playground near Pittsburgh. Point Park was involved in the program for the second straight year, and players performed tasks ranging from general playground construction to carrying 80-lb. bags of concrete across the property.
The Pioneers continue competition Saturday at the St. Vincent Invitational at 10:30 a.m.
