CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Roberts Wesleyan forward Femi Arogundade and Walsh defender Nathaniel Milhoan have been selected the AMC Players of the Week in men’s soccer for matches played on Sept. 28 through Oct. 4.
Arogundade, a 5-foot-9 senior from London, England, is the AMC Offensive Player of the Week. He tallied five goals in two AMC victories for the Raiders.
Arogundade opened the week by tying the Roberts Wesleyan school record for most goals in a single match by netting four in a 6-0 decision against Daemen. He added another goal during a 3-0 victory at Point Park. Roberts Wesleyan enters the week 5-4 overall and 4-0 AMC.
Milhoan, a 5-foot-11 sophomore from Hartville, Ohio, is the AMC Defensive Player of the Week. The Cavaliers posted back-to-back shutouts.
Milhoan helped the Walsh defense limit Lake Erie to just three shots on goal in a 1-0 win. They checked Shawnee State to a pair of shots on goal resulting in a 3-0 decision for Walsh, 5-4 overall and 1-3 AMC.
