CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh forward Ricky Jackson is the AMC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his performance in games played on Nov. 23-29.
Jackson, a 6-foot-7 senior from Chicago, Ill., averaged 19.5 points and seven rebounds in two wins for the Cavaliers, who were ranked #6 in NAIA Division II.
Jackson had 17 points and eight rebounds in an 88-47 win over Canton rival Malone. He produced 22 points and six boards in a 124-46 wipeout of Penn State-Fayette.
In two games, Jackson shot 73 percent from the field and 67 percent at the charity stripe. He totaled 14 rebounds, five steals, two assists, and two blocked shots.
Walsh enters the week 6-0 overall.
