CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Notre Dame teammates Steph Tartaglione and Tara Meyer have been selected the AMC Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week after leading the Falcons to six victories during games played on April 13-19.

Tartaglione, a 5-foot-3 senior shortstop from Euclid, Ohio, is the Player of the Week. She batted .667 with four doubles and nine runs batted in.

In six games played, Tartaglione went 14-for-21 at the plate with nine runs scored, one walk, and one stolen base. She also sported a .958 fielding percentage on defense for NDC, 22-8 overall and 15-1 AMC.

Meyer, a 5-5 senior righthander from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is the Pitcher of the Week. She went 3-0 in three appearances with a 1.11 earned run average.

In 19 innings pitched, Meyer allowed three earned runs on 15 hits with 20 strikeouts and two walks. She fired a two-hit shutout against Ursuline and a three-hit shutout versus Carlow.
